Seattle Area School District Bans Halloween Celebrations
The superintendent of the Puyallup School District has banned Halloween celebrations on school time for three reasons.
- Halloween parties and parades waste valuable classroom time.
- Some families can’t afford costumes.
- Halloween celebrations and children dressed in Halloween costumes might be offensive to real witches.
